A school bus driver was arrested in Lucknow after allegedly molesting and attempting to rape a four-year-old student, police said on Sunday.
The accused, Girish Mishra, was responsible for transporting the child to and from a private school in Rajajipuram.

Last month, a 29-year-old man was arrested from Uttar Pradesh's Ballia for allegedly abducting and raping a five-year-old girl who was on her way home with her grandfather.
According to the police, the girl was travelling with her grandfather on a motorcycle on the night of June 11. He stopped near a cold storage facility to use the restroom. At that point, the accused allegedly arrived on a motorcycle, picked up the girl and fled.
The girl was later rescued, and her medical examination confirmed that she had been sexually assaulted.
The accused, identified as Chandan Kumar Shah, was arrested by police.and booked under provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
