The examination was conducted across 1,183 centres spread over all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, making it one of the state's largest recruitment exercises.

CHEATERS IN THE SPOTLIGHT

While the examination concluded largely peacefully, authorities remained alert to attempts at unfair practices. Over the course of the recruitment exercise, 12 FIRs were registered across the state and nine accused were arrested before being sent to jail.

Police said alleged solvers and impersonators using forged documents were caught in Noida, Aligarh and Kanpur. These individuals were reportedly attempting to appear for the examination on behalf of other candidates or use fake identities.
