Munawar Faruqui calls The Traitors 2 contestants 'insecure' after elimination
Comedian-rapper Munawar Faruqui was voted out on The Traitors Season 2 after fellow contestants accused him of playing like a traitor. Munawar called out the contestants as an insecure bunch and said they had targeted him out of fear.

Several contestants then turned on Munawar, saying he was playing like a traitor, and voted him out.
After his exit, Munawar hit out at the group when host Karan Johar asked him to reveal whether he was a traitor or an innocent. An emotional Munawar said, "F*** off, guys! I was playing the game! I wanted to play it well! I am an innocent! F*** off, insecure bunch of people. They thought I would eat them up here. They are all scared. Now recognise who is the one amongst you."
Munawar was eliminated at the first circle of shaq after receiving the highest number of votes. The real traitors in the game were Aaditya Kulshreshth, also known as Kullu, Krystle D'Souza and Harman Singha. Shahneel Gill was recruited as the fourth traitor in the second episode.
Before the reveal, Munawar went to the centre of the room and said, “I had expected this to happen to me. I knew I would have to face it. This often happens to me. It is not the first time. This is not the first time that I have been targeted."
"Call me a soft target or someone too good to be there. I can clearly see through the insecurities of other people, and you will see how end up looking. Because your insecurities will be visible. You approached me as a friend and heard me out, but now you wrote my name here. Thank you for that," he added.
The celebrity line-up this season includes Aaditya Kulshreshth (Kullu), Abhishek Malhan (Fukraa Insaan), Ansh Chopra, Dalip Tahil, Harman Singha, Ikka Singh, Karan Singh Magic, Krystle D’Souza, Mallika Sherawat, Parul Gulati, Prish and Ranveer Brar.
Rhea Chakraborty, Rida Tharana, Sahil Salathia, Shahneel Gill, Shalini Passi, Shweta Tiwari, Soundous Moufakir and Tanya Puri are also part of the season.
Actor Dalip Tahil was eliminated on day one after attempting to distinguish himself from his co-contestants, which ultimately backfired during a game twist and left him with the fewest gold coins.
In this opening task, contestants were asked to secretly distribute gold coins among themselves, testing their trust and strategy; Dalip's attempt to stand out resulted in him receiving the lowest share, leading to his instant departure.
Meanwhile, magician Karan Singh Magic became the traitors' first murder victim.
