Reverse-searching frames from the video led to the Facebook page of Kuwait’s Dasman News. The news outlet posted this video on July 29, 2020. It said explosions occurred in agricultural warehouses in Kuwait’s Sulaibiya.
Another Kuwaiti news outlet, Alanba reported on July 30, 2020, that the warehouses had stock of petroleum derivatives, spare parts, electrical appliances, and fibreglass, and that explosions occurred due to gas cylinders used for filling air conditioning units. The report mentioned that firefighters, with support from the country's army and the National Guard, took seven hours to control the fire.
Arab Kuwait Times reported on July 29, 2020, that it had taken eight firefighting teams, the Kuwait army and the National Guard to extinguish the fire that broke out in four warehouses spread across an 8,000-square-meter area in the agricultural land of Sulaibiya.
