Case against Thalapathy Vijay after cadre claims assault by his bouncers

A case has been registered against TVK chief Thalapathy Vijay after a cadre filed a complaint alleging he was injured during Vijay’s Madurai conference. According to the complaint, the cadre Sharath Kumar tried to climb the ramp where Vijay was walking but was violently pushed down by the actor’s bouncers, leaving him injured in the chest. Police have registered a case against Vijay and his bouncers under Sections 189(2), 296(b), and 115.
