Donald Trump UN Speech Highlights: US President Donald Trump is addressing the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Tuesday, with Iran, the Middle East, Ukraine and US foreign policy expected to feature prominently in his high-stakes speech. Nearly 130 world leaders have gathered for the UNGA amid wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as growing concerns over the rapid development of artificial intelligence. Trump has already begun his address, declaring that "America is back" and highlighting the country's economic, military and technological strength. On Iran, Trump has vowed never to allow Tehran to acquire a nuclear weapon and has called on countries to economically isolate the Iranian regime. He has also warned Europe about Iran's missile programme, saying Tehran developed a missile capable of hitting Europe. Trump is expected to discuss his 20-point Gaza peace plan and US priorities in the Western Hemisphere. He is scheduled to meet 11 leaders, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez. The UNGA is taking place amid questions over the world body's relevance after the Trump administration cut US funding and withdrew from several UN agencies. Chinese President Xi Jinping is skipping the gathering for talks with Trump in Washington later this week. Follow IndiaToday.in for live updates.
