Eyewitnesses said the truck suddenly veered into the busy market area at high speed, crushing vehicles and mowing down pedestrians before coming to a halt.
“The truck entered the market uncontrollably and kept hitting everything in its path,” a local resident said.

Police teams from the Dumri police station reached the area soon after receiving information and launched relief and rescue operations.
The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment, while emergency responders worked to clear the area.
