AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has slammed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the murder of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf who were gunned down while being taken for a medical test on Saturday. Stating that the rule of gun prevails in Uttar Pradesh, Owaisi said the law and order situation in the state has gone for a complete toss after the BJP came to power in 2017 and seated Yogi Adityanath in the Chief Minister's post. The AIMIM chief also said that those who believe in the Constitution and the Indian judiciary system have completely lost faith and are feeling helpless after the gangster-turned-politician's murder in police custody.
