CBSE to declare Class 12 results soon. DigiLocker drops major hint
CBSE Class 12th Result Date 2026: CBSE Class 12 board exam results are expected to be announced soon after a DigiLocker update suggested that result documents are currently being readied for release.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the Class 12 board exam results anytime soon after a fresh update appeared on the DigiLocker portal. The platform is currently showing a “results soon” notification, hinting that CBSE result documents are being prepared for upload and release.
In previous years, CBSE and several other education boards have usually declared results within a few days of DigiLocker activating result-related alerts or student access services. Based on this pattern, the CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 could be announced around Monday, May 11. However, the board has not yet confirmed the official result date or timing.
HOW TO CHECK CBSE CLASS 12 RESULT ON DIGILOCKER
Step 1: Visit results.digilocker.gov.in or open the DigiLocker app
Step 2: Log in using your registered mobile number or Aadhaar-linked credentials
Step 3: Go to the ‘Education’ or ‘CBSE’ section
Step 4: Select “CBSE Class 12 Result 2026” or “Class XII Marksheet”
Step 5: Enter details including roll number, school code and admit card ID
Step 6: Click on submit to view the digital marksheet
Step 7: Download and save the result for future use

Once announced, students will also be able to check their CBSE Class 12 results on the official websites, including cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in and results.cbse.gov.in.
As in previous years, digitally verified marksheets and certificates will also be available on DigiLocker for download.
The CBSE Class 12 board exams for 2026 were conducted between February and April at centres across India and abroad. Lakhs of students from Science, Commerce and Humanities streams appeared for the examinations this year.
