After an intimate wedding celebration, newlyweds Akansha Ranjan and Sharan Sharma embraced timeless glamour in a striking black-and-gold palette for their wedding reception.
After keeping things understated for the wedding, Akansha Ranjan turned up the glamour for her reception in a golden ensemble, while Sharan Sharma complemented her in a sharply tailored black bandhgala.
Akansha chose a heavily embellished mermaid lehenga featuring a sculpted corset top with a sweetheart neckline. Intricately embroidered with gold zari, sequins and beadwork, the skirt hugged the body before flaring gently at the hem. A sheer soft dupatta added another soft layer to the gold outfit.
Her jewellery stayed within the same gold-and-diamond palette. She wore a statement choker set with uncut diamonds (polki) and pearls, paired with matching stud earrings.
