Two Indian bars have made it to Asia's 51-100 Best Bars list, unveiled by the acclaimed organisation 50 Best. The annual rankings recognise some of the finest bars, restaurants and hotels across the region.

The top 50 bars will be announced at an awards ceremony in Macau on July 28. Ahead of the event, the organisation has released the extended list, revealing the bars ranked between 51 and 100.

Wondering which bars made it to this list? Here you go:

Bar Outrigger in Goa secured the 51st spot on the list. AABBCC, a relatively new bar in Delhi's cocktail-loving neighbourhood of Vasant Vihar, made its debut on the list at No. 85.

Goa’s Outrigger, known for its maritime-themed interiors, is a rum-forward bar. It was on the list last year as well, on 55th spot.

AABBCC, on the other hand, is a concept bar spread across three floors, each offering a different experience. Guests can begin the evening on the ground floor, where more than 80 ingredients used in the cocktails are on display, enjoy a modern take on the Bellini at the 21-foot-long bar on the next floor, and end the night at the music lounge on the top floor.

While two bars from India got a mention in this list, Singapore led it with seven entries.

The annual rankings are based on votes cast by the Asia's 50 Best Bars Academy. The academy comprises bartenders, drinks writers and industry experts from across Asia, representing a wide range of cities and bar cultures.

As for India, the bar scene is evolving rapidly along with the tastes of its diners. Standard cocktail menus featuring classics like the Cosmopolitan, Margarita, Bloody Mary and Whisky Sour are no longer enough to impress. Instead, there's a growing demand as well as appreciation for inventive drinks.

The rise of craft gin, experimental mixology and international bar takeovers, where acclaimed bartenders from around the world bring their signature cocktails to Indian bars, reflects this shift.

BRB, waiting for the top 50 list to be unveiled soon!
