The impact of lower ticket prices for discounted Tuesday was visible in the volume of sales, as the film earned Rs 9.50 crore nett in India on its fifth day. The Day 5 numbers took the film’s total India gross to Rs 99.44 crore and its total India nett to Rs 83.25 crore. It is only a matter of a day before the film crosses the Rs 100-crore mark in India.
Overseas, the film collected Rs 1.50 crore on Tuesday, which pushed its total overseas gross to Rs 16 crore. Its worldwide gross now stands at Rs 115.44 crore.
Dhamaal 4 had opened with Rs 14 crore on Day 1, its first Friday, from 10,669 shows and with an overall occupancy of 24%. On Day 2, the first Saturday, the collection rose to Rs 22.50 crore from 10,954 shows, with occupancy at 35 per cent. On Day 3, the first Sunday, the film earned Rs 28.50 crore while playing across 11,481 shows and recording 44 per cent occupancy.
