Of Brand New Day's worldwide total, $449 million (around Rs 3,930 crore) has come from North America, while $706.3 million (around Rs 6,180 crore) has been generated from international markets, cementing its status as the biggest global release of the year.

Spider-Man Brand New Day's box office performance in India

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Spider-Man: Brand New Day earned Rs 15.20 crore nett (gross minus taxes) on its seventh day in India across 16,725 shows. The film's gross collections for Wednesday are estimated at Rs 18.17 crore, taking its total India gross to Rs 380.78 crore, while its nett collections stand at Rs 318.45 crore.

The Day 7 figures mark the film's biggest weekday decline so far. After collecting Rs 23.80 crore on Monday and Rs 21.50 crore on Tuesday, the superhero spectacle witnessed a 29.3 per cent drop on Wednesday. Even so, it continues to outperform most Hollywood releases in the Indian market.

After a record-breaking opening weekend, the Tom Holland-starrer is now within touching distance of the Rs 400-crore gross mark in India.

The Marvel film also became the fastest release to cross $400 million (around Rs 3,500 crore) in North America, achieving the feat in just four days. Earlier this week, it became only the second film in history to cross $1 billion (around Rs 8,750 crore) worldwide in under a week, with only Avengers: Endgame reaching the milestone faster.
