Actor Tom Holland marked the release of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey with a gratitude note on social media. His message highlighted the film as a creatively fulfilling experience as it opened strongly in India.

As the epic finally arrived in theatres, the actor looked back on his experience of working on the film, calling it one of the most rewarding chapters. In a post on Instagram, the 29-year-old Spider-Man actor reflected on his journey with The Odyssey, describing the project as both a creative challenge and a deeply fulfilling personal experience.
“There are movies where you are challenged and fulfilled creatively and there are jobs where you meet wonderful people. The Odyssey is BOTH (sic),” his note read.
Calling the film "one of the greatest pleasures" of his career, Holland said being part of Nolan's ambitious adaptation had given him memories and lessons he would cherish for years.
The actor went on to thank the film's crew for their dedication and acknowledged his co-stars for supporting him throughout the demanding production. He also reserved special praise for director Christopher Nolan and producer Emma Thomas, thanking them for entrusting him with what he described as "the opportunity of a lifetime."
"Thank you to Chris and Emma for your guidance and giving me the opportunity of a lifetime. I couldn't be prouder of everyone involved (sic)," he added.
Ending his note, Holland urged audiences to experience the film on the biggest screen possible. "The Odyssey is out now! Enjoy it on every and all formats you can and I'll see you soon," he concluded.

According to early estimates by trade website Sacnilk, The Odyssey grossed Rs 20.76 crore on its opening day in India, while its nett collection stood at Rs 17.40 crore. The film played across 8,413 shows nationwide and recorded an overall occupancy of 48.7 per cent, driven largely by strong demand for premium formats, particularly IMAX screenings.
