Panorama Studios has signed Fahadh Faasil for two Malayalam films to be produced with Jacob K Babu. The deal adds to the studio's expanding Malayalam slate after the success of Drishyam 3.

Fresh off the success of Drishyam 3, Panorama Studios, who had distributed the Mohanlal-starrer, has announced a new collaboration with Fahadh Faasil. The actor has signed a two-film deal with the production house, with both Malayalam projects set to be produced in association with producer Jacob K Babu.
The films are currently in development and are expected to release in theatres next year. While details regarding the directors, supporting cast and technical crew have not yet been revealed, the announcement marks another significant step in Panorama's growing presence in Malayalam cinema.
Speaking about the collaboration, Fahadh said the strength of the stories and the vision behind the projects attracted him to the films. He added that he has always enjoyed being part of stories that challenge him as an actor and offer something fresh to audiences.
The announcement comes at a time when Panorama Studios is steadily expanding its footprint in Malayalam cinema. Apart from Drishyam 3, the banner is also backing projects such as Tiki Taka with Asif Ali, Unmadham starring Kunchacko Boban and Lijomol Jose, and a multi-film collaboration with Nivin Pauly.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Drishyam 3 has reportedly grossed Rs 238.61 crore worldwide in 25 days, making it the fourth highest-grossing Malayalam film and Mohanlal's second entry in the all-time top five.
Meanwhile, Fahadh was last seen in Mahesh Narayanan's Patriot, alongside Mohanlal and Mammootty. Released on May 1, the film opened to mixed reviews and had an underwhelming run at the box office.
He will next be seen in the Tamil film Idhayam Murali, starring Atharvaa in the lead role, and is also headlining director C Prem Kumar's upcoming project alongside Sshivada.
