Kayadu Lohar has quickly emerged as one of the busiest young actors in South Indian cinema. After making her Tamil debut with Dragon earlier this year, the actor struck a chord with Kollywood audiences, while her appearance in Sai Abhyankkar's Pavazha Malli further boosted her popularity.

Following Dragon, Kayadu was also seen in the Telugu film Funky, opposite Vishwak Sen, and the Malayalam release Pallichattambi, opposite Tovino Thomas. She now has a packed line-up spanning Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam cinema.

Idhayam Murali (Tamil) – July 10

Kayadu will next be seen in Aakash Bhaskaran's romantic drama Idhayam Murali, starring Atharvaa in the lead. The film also features Fahadh Faasil, Preity Mukhundhan, Thaman, Rakshan, Dravid Selvam and Sudhakar. It follows a young man navigating unrequited love while discovering that some emotions remain deeply rooted despite the passage of time.

Immortal (Tamil) – July 23

Directed by Mariyappan Chinna, Immortal is a dark fantasy supernatural thriller featuring GV Prakash and Aditya Kathir alongside Kayadu. The story revolves around a man who imagines himself growing closer to the woman of his dreams before finding himself pursued by a terrifying monster.

I'm Game (Malayalam) – August 20

Headlined by Dulquer Salmaan and directed by Nahas Hidhayath, I'm Game also stars Antony Varghese Pepe, Mysskin, Kathir and Samyuktha Vishwanathan. The film centres on a reckless gambler whose faith in luck pulls him into a series of life-altering events. The film marks Dulquer's return to Malayalam cinema and carries considerable anticipation.

The Paradise (Telugu) – August 21

Kayadu stars opposite Nani in Srikanth Odela's period drama The Paradise. Mohan Babu and Raghav Juyal are also part of the cast. Set in the 1980s Secunderabad, the film is expected to chronicle the struggle of a marginalised tribe fighting for citizenship and justice under the leadership of an unexpected leader, played by Nani. The film marks the reunion of Nani and Srikanth Odela after the success of Dasara.

Manjanathi (Tamil)

Mari Selvaraj's Manjanathi pairs Kayadu with Priyanka Mohan in the lead. The film will feature music by Ilaiyaraaja. While plot details remain under wraps, the project is expected to continue the story of Vaazhai.

Suriya 48 (Tamil)

Recently announced by Hombale Films, Suriya 48 marks Kayadu's first collaboration with Suriya. The film reunites the actor with his Jai Bhim director, TJ Gnanavel, while Sai Abhyankkar will compose the music once again for Suriya after their successful collaboration on Karuppu. Although the makers are yet to reveal the story, the film is reportedly based on the life of physician Thiruvengadam Veeraraghavan, popularly known as the "Rs 5 doctor."

Thaaram (Malayalam)

Announced in 2022, Thaaram stars Nivin Pauly, Nikhila Vimal, Sai Pallavi and Kayadu Lohar under the direction of Vinay Govind. However, with very few updates emerging over the past few years, it remains unclear whether the long-delayed project is still under production or has been shelved.

From Idhayam Murali and Immortal to The Paradise, Manjanathi and Suriya 48, Kayadu Lohar's upcoming slate reflects her growing demand across South Indian cinema. With major collaborations spanning three industries, the actor appears poised to build on the momentum she gained after Dragon.
