Germany have turned to Jurgen Klopp to revive the national team after another disappointing World Cup campaign. The former Liverpool manager returns to the dugout on a deal that runs through the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

The appointment marks Klopp's first coaching role since leaving Liverpool in 2024. Having initially stepped away from management because of fatigue, the German said he now feels refreshed and ready for the challenge after spending the past year and a half as Red Bull's head of global soccer.
