Woman with Master's in English criticises Rahul Gandhi, gets grammar lesson instead
An assistant professor from Bengal shared a post questioning Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on andhbhakts. The internet, however, was more fixated on pointing out the grammatical mistakes in her post.
An assistant professor's attempt to criticise Congress leader Rahul Gandhi backfired after social media users corrected her grammar despite her claiming to hold master's degrees in both English and Education.
Arpita Chatterjee, who identified herself as an assistant professor from West Bengal, shared a post on X claiming that she held two master's degrees and was pursuing a PhD while questioning Rahul Gandhi over his remarks about "andhbhakts."
In her post, Chatterjee wrote, "Dear Rahul Gandhi, I am a proud Andhbhakt and an assistant professor, having two master's degree (English and Education), having B.Ed. Degree too and pursuing PhD. According to you an Andhbhakt is an IDIOT. Am I an IDIOT! Are you sure?"
While the post was intended as a criticism of Gandhi, it quickly garnered attention for its language and phrasing instead.
