Andrew Tate, his brother arrested in Miami over rape, sex trafficking charges

The UK's Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said it had authorised further charges against the siblings. "We have decided to prosecute Andrew and Tristan Tate for further offences including rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation and offences relating to indecent images of a child," Malcolm McHaffie, head of the CPS Special Crime Division, said in a statement.
The CPS said Andrew Tate, 39, faces three additional counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and 19 further offences related to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.
Tristan Tate, 38, has been charged with one additional count of sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, prosecutors said.
The new charges relate to offences allegedly committed between July 2010 and August 2017 and involve four additional alleged victims, the CPS said. The brothers had previously been charged in a separate case with 21 offences involving three other alleged victims, bringing the total number of alleged victims to seven.
"We have decided to prosecute Andrew and Tristan Tate for further offences including rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation and offences relating to indecent images of a child," Malcolm McHaffie, head of the CPS Special Crime Division, said in a statement. He said the additional charges followed a further file of evidence submitted by Bedfordshire Police.
BRITAIN SEEKING EXTRADITION
British authorities are seeking the brothers' extradition to face trial over both the newly announced charges and the earlier case. Andrew Tate has already been charged with 10 offences, including rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain, linked to three alleged victims. Tristan Tate faces 11 charges, including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking, connected to one alleged victim. The brothers have denied all wrongdoing.
A High Court judge recently dismissed the brothers' legal bid to be told the identities of their female accusers.
Separately, the Tate brothers are also facing criminal proceedings in Romania, where they were charged after their 2022 arrest with human trafficking, rape and forming an organised criminal group. They have denied those allegations as well.
