Bilateral ties with India witnessing unprecedented breakthrough: Egypt's minister | Exclusive

Assistant Minister for South Asian Affairs at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Shaheen, said the country's bilateral ties with India are witnessing an unprecedented breakthrough in all respects. In an exclusive interview with India Today's Foreign Affairs Editor Geeta Mohan, the minister added the exchange of the head of the two countries last year contributed immensely to the ties between the two states. 

Shaheen also remarked on the similarities between the countries when it comes to the "fabric of the community, values, traditions" and the fact that both civilisations are among the oldest on the globe.
