Maruti Suzuki sells 2.36 lakh units in September 2026

Maruti Suzuki India sold a total of 2,36,013 units in September 2026, compared with 1,89,665 units in September 2025. The company recorded 1,91,794 units in total domestic sales, while exports stood at 44,219 units.

Maruti Suzuki passenger vehicle sales

Maruti Suzuki sold 1,81,838 passenger vehicles in the domestic market in September 2026, compared with 1,32,820 units in the same month last year.

The mini, compact and mid-size passenger car segment recorded sales of 91,887 units in September 2026, compared with 74,090 units in September 2025. The segment includes the Alto, Baleno, Celerio, Ciaz, Dzire, Ignis, S-Presso, Swift and WagonR.

Utility vehicle sales stood at 78,911 units in September 2026, compared with 48,695 units in September 2025. The utility vehicle portfolio comprises the Brezza, Ertiga, e Vitara, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris and XL6.

Sales of the Eeco stood at 11,040 units in September 2026, compared with 10,035 units in the same month last year.

Maruti Suzuki Super Carry sales

Maruti Suzuki sold 3,414 units of the Super Carry light commercial vehicle in September 2026, compared with 2,891 units in September 2025.

Including the Super Carry, total domestic sales stood at 1,85,252 units during the month, compared with 1,35,711 units in September 2025.

Sales to other OEMs stood at 6,542 units in September 2026, compared with 11,750 units in the same month last year. Total domestic sales, including passenger vehicles, the Super Carry and OEM sales, stood at 1,91,794 units.

Maruti Suzuki exports

Maruti Suzuki exported 44,219 units in September 2026, compared with 42,204 units in September 2025.

Overall, the company sold 2,36,013 units in September 2026, compared with 1,89,665 units in September 2025.

April-September sales

During April-September of FY2026-27, Maruti Suzuki recorded total sales of 13,79,378 units, compared with 10,78,735 units in the corresponding period of FY2025-26.

Domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 10,80,240 units during the period, compared with 7,95,446 units in April-September last year.

Utility vehicle sales stood at 4,55,692 units, compared with 3,17,379 units in the corresponding period of FY2025-26.

Exports during April-September stood at 2,32,855 units, compared with 2,07,459 units in the same period last year.

Total domestic sales, including passenger vehicles, the Super Carry and sales to other OEMs, stood at 11,46,523 units during April-September 2026, compared with 8,71,276 units in the corresponding period of FY2025-26.
