Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's details were flagged for a discrepancy during the process and subsequently validated after physical verification by the Booth Level Officer. The notice disposal process must be completed by October 29.

A three-year-old boy was killed in a hit-and-run road accident in Hyderabad after being hit by a speeding vehicle. Following the collision, the vehicle fled the spot. The child was rushed to Shalini Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The entire incident was caught on camera, showing the vehicle hitting the child as he was running. Police have noted the registration number of the vehicle and launched an investigation and a search operation to track down the vehicle and nab the accused driver.

DMK chief M.K. Stalin has hit out at Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay over remarks concerning his arrest under the Maintenance of Internal Security Act (MISA). Stalin accused the Chief Minister and the TVK government of using MISA and the Sarkaria Commission as diversionary tactics because they are unable to answer opposition questions. Responding to the controversy, Stalin stated that he does not need to prove his imprisonment under MISA to anyone and maintained that nobody is qualified to judge his sacrifice. He added that his history regarding MISA has been documented and remains an indelible mark that cannot be erased by time.

In Pakistan's Sindh province, two minor Hindu sisters aged 13 and 14 were kidnapped, subjected to forced religious conversion, and child marriage. The family reported that the girls were abducted and forcibly converted. During court proceedings, the minor sisters appealed to return to their family, stating they wanted to go home. However, the court directed that the sisters be sent to a shelter instead of being reunited with their family. Following the incident, the 13-year-old girl collapsed and was hospitalised, raising concerns over the treatment of religious minorities and Hindus in Pakistan.
