Lust Stories 3: When and where to watch Siddharth, Aditi Rao's anthology series

The upcoming third instalment of the Emmy-nominated anthology series Lust Stories brings together filmmakers Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra, and Vishal Bhardwaj. Each director will helm a distinct short film examining intimacy, human connection, and the nuances of contemporary relationships.

The anthology explores love, desire and the complexities of modern relationships. Announcing the release, the platform said in its latest Instagram post, "Desire, drama and dilemmas. Mark the date...Watch Lust Stories 3, out September 18, only on Netflix (sic)!"

The poster for Lust Stories 3 features a vibrant, floral-framed collage set beneath "A NETFLIX FILM" branding, bringing together its central ensemble cast inside an intricate blue arch. Positioned around the design are key cast members, including Ali Fazal and Aditi Rao Hydari sharing a moment under an umbrella at the top, flanked by Radhika Apte and Konkona Sen Sharma. They are joined by Abhishek Banerjee, Siddharth in dark sunglasses, Vijay Varma, Sana Thampi, Gurfateh Pirzada, and Radhika Madan draped in white at the lower center.

Produced by RSVP and Flying Unicorn Entertainment, the anthology features an ensemble cast including actors Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Radhika Madan, Sana Thampi, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Siddharth, Ali Fazal and Gurfateh Pirzada.

The film brings together directors Vikramaditya, Kiran, Shakun and Vishal, while the writing credits are shared by Kiran Rao, Tanaji Dasgupta, Avinash Sampath, Sumukhi Suresh, Shakun Batra, Sameeha Sabnis, Ashwathi Namboodiri, Nitesh Bhatia, Utkarshini Vashishtha and Vishal Bhardwaj. Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua have backed the anthology as producers.

The four stories delve into love, desire, vulnerability and relationships, with each director offering their own take on the emotions and choices tied to intimacy.

Lust Stories debuted in 2018 under the direction of Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar. Five years later, the 2023 follow-up featured four new directorial perspectives from R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, and Sujoy Ghosh.
