Nirahua is convincing me to marry someone: BB 20's Aamrapali on dating rumours

Bhojpuri actor Aamrapali Dubey has again spoken about the long-running rumours around her equation with co-star Dinesh Lal Yadav, also known as Nirahua. On the latest episode of Bigg Boss 20, she said people often think they are dating, but added that Nirahua has been urging her to marry someone. Nirahua is married to Mansha Yadav, and they have two sons.

Aamrapali spoke about the matter during a conversation with co-contestant Love Gill. She said her friendship with Nirahua goes back to the time she entered the Bhojpuri film industry. The two first worked together in the 2014 film Nirahua Hindustani, which marked her debut in Bhojpuri cinema. They have since remained one of the best-known on-screen pairings in the industry.

Speaking about their bond, Aamrapali said, “Even today, our friendship is such that I don’t need to tell him anything. I just look at him, and he understands and starts laughing. Friendships should be so unfiltered. People think he and I are dating, and that poor guy has gone crazy convincing me that I should marry someone. How do I explain to him? Men think it’s very easy to get married. They don’t understand our side. We will have to leave all that we have earned behind and go. Men find this idea of getting married very easy.”

What she had said earlier

In an earlier episode of Bigg Boss 20, she also said Nirahua had recommended her name to actor Santosh Shukla during Bigg Boss 6. After he put in a word for her, she moved from television to films.

A few months ago, on the reality show Bhojpuri Bawaal, Aamrapali said she was close to Nirahua’s children.

In Bhojpuri Bawaal, journalist Shubankar Mishra asked Aamrapali about her equation with Nirahua. When he referred to Nirahua as her “brother”, she corrected him and said, “No, he is my co-actor.” When he asked if Nirahua was “just” her co-actor, she replied, “Absolutely.” As the conversation turned to her bond with Nirahua and his children, she said, “His children are very good friends of mine.” She also warned, “Think before you speak about me.”

Her response on the Mahakumbh visit

Aamrapali had earlier addressed questions about visiting the Mahakumbh with Nirahua in an interview with The Times of India. She said she had gone there with her family and that Nirahua joined them after learning about the visit.

She said, “People also questioned me because I was seen holding hands with Nirahua ji while taking a dip at the Mahakumbh. Some asked why his wife wasn’t there if we were only friends. But why is that question always directed at me? My entire family was there. My mother, sister, uncle, and aunt had all come along. It was a family plan, and Dinesh ji happened to be in Uttar Pradesh. When he found out that everyone was going, he decided to join us. That’s all there was to it.”

Nirahua’s earlier remarks

Earlier this year, Nirahua spoke about his marriage in an interview with Digital Commentary. He said he did not love his wife and that he had been forced into the marriage by his parents. He said, “I told my children that I was never able to love their mother. I have also told my wife that I never loved her. Yes, it is my duty that since my parents got us married, I am fulfilling that responsibility. I do feel guilty about it. That is why I will not do the same with my children. I will never tell them that they have to do things a certain way. I will not force them.”
