BB 20: Uditi Singh's team slams Rhiti Tiwari after singer abuses in rap battle

What began as a rap battle on Bigg Boss 20 quickly turned uncomfortable after contestant Rhiti Tiwari used abusive and sexually suggestive remarks against TV actor Uditi Singh and singer Qazi Touqeer. Uditi’s team has now responded to the controversy, taking a dig at Rhiti while bringing her father, actor-politician Manoj Tiwari, into the conversation.

Uditi’s team shared a poster from the diss battle on social media and took a dig at Rhiti’s choice of words. Drawing a comparison with Manoj Tiwari’s own Bigg Boss stint, they wrote, “Papa ne apne season mein sab sehkar bhi class aur dignity sambhali. Beti ko diss battle mili, dictionary nikli khaali. Naam Tiwari mic pe taiyaari? Bas gaali pe gaali.”

The post came after an uncomfortable exchange inside the Bigg Boss house, where a rap challenge between the contestants appeared to go beyond the usual roasting. Uditi initially refused to continue with the task, after which Qazi stepped in. But the mood changed when Rhiti allegedly directed abusive and sexually suggestive remarks at both of them.

Uditi was visibly upset and eventually walked away. Qazi, meanwhile, wasn't willing to let the comments slide. He questioned where the line should be drawn during a task like this. “Roasting ki bhi had hoti hai. Mera khoon garam nahi hoga kya?” he said. He later looked into the camera and addressed Manoj Tiwari directly, saying, “Apni daughter ko dekho, not done.”

Rhiti, however, didn't appear to regret her performance immediately. After the battle, she told Captain Kushal Tanwar, better known as Gullu, “I killed it.” Gullu disagreed with her on one point, telling her that using slurs wasn't right.

The conversation then turned towards how her family might react to the episode. When Aman Gandhi tried to explain that her comments could concern her family, Rhiti paused before making it clear that she wasn't worried about disappointing her father. “I don’t think my dad is going to be less proud of me because of this comment,” she said.

In another conversation with Mahhi Vij, Rhiti suggested that Manoj Tiwari would have expected her to give an even stronger response. “Aur ye log soch rahe hain mere papa kya sochega. Mere papa sochega isko aur better jawab deti,” she said. She later addressed Qazi's comments herself while speaking to the camera. “Manoj Tiwari ji dekhiye apni beti ko,” Rhiti said, before adding, “My father is damn proud of me.”

The episode has since pushed the argument beyond the task itself, with viewers debating how far contestants should be allowed to go when a game is built around roasting, rap and personal jabs. While such battles are designed to provoke, the exchange between Rhiti, Uditi and Qazi has left the house visibly more tense.

Rhiti is the daughter of Manoj Tiwari, who was a contestant on Bigg Boss 4. The actor-politician has also been associated with the Bhojpuri film industry as an actor and singer. Rhiti is now making her own mark on Bigg Boss 20, but her latest rap battle has put her at the centre of a controversy over where competitive banter ends and personal attacks begin.
