Adityanath also visited exhibitions set up by various government departments, where officials showcased the implementation and impact of different welfare and development schemes. He interacted with beneficiaries and reviewed displays highlighting initiatives across multiple sectors.

INAUGURATED THREE STATUES

The Chief Minister flagged off a boat rally on the Yamuna River as part of the programme. He also inaugurated statues of three prominent personalities—Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Ashok Singhal—installed at the Prerna Sthal in Prayagraj.

During the event, Adityanath honoured beneficiaries of several government welfare schemes and felicitated athletes in recognition of their performances in various sporting events.

Certificates were distributed to beneficiaries of the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, while sanitation workers were provided with sanitation kits as part of the government's efforts to improve working conditions for frontline civic staff.

PM Surya Ghar Yojana is a government scheme designed to provide free electricity to households in India by installing rooftop solar panels.

HOUSING SCHEME INITIATIVE ALSO ANNOUNCED

The Chief Minister also handed over house keys to beneficiaries of the housing scheme and distributed financial assistance cheques to beneficiaries under the PM SVANidhi scheme, which provides collateral-free working capital loans to street vendors.

Officials said the programmes were aimed at strengthening the implementation of welfare initiatives while ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach eligible beneficiaries. The visit formed part of the Uttar Pradesh government's continued focus on social welfare, infrastructure development and public engagement through direct interaction with citizens across the state.
