Following a fatal building collapse that claimed seven lives in Delhi's Satya Niketan, paying guest (PG) owners and staff have gone underground amid demolition drives and crackdowns. At Girls PG Hostel Days, around 22 students have been left without caretakers, wardens, or basic amenities. Despite paying advance rent of around 15,000 rupees and security deposits ranging from 30,000 to 40,000 rupees, students are being asked to pay an additional 4,000 rupees for meals. The Bharatiya Janata Party is set to launch the Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra against the drug menace in Punjab, targeting the Aam Aadmi Party government.
