A controversy and street protests erupted following a viral video regarding an alleged assault on a protester's father. While the accused claimed in an interview with India Today that the incident occurred in self-defence during an attempted mob attack, protesters and civil groups took to the streets demanding immediate police action and arrest. The victim's daughter alleged receiving threats following the incident. Opposition leaders also questioned the lack of administrative action, while the accused denied wrongdoing and alleged a targeted political campaign.

During Janmashtami celebrations, plans were highlighted regarding the development of grand temple complexes in Mathura and Vrindavan, on the lines of the developments in Ayodhya and Kashi. The objective is to ensure that devotees face no difficulties and their religious faith encounters no hurdles. The administration emphasised the responsibility of the government to protect, support, and encourage public celebrations conducted within the framework of law, including events held across police stations and correctional facilities. It was stated that previous regimes failed to respect the sentiments of the public and insulted the cultural heritage of Ayodhya, Kashi, and the Braj region. Furthermore, it was noted that the state has transformed into a curfew-free and riot-free environment, where citizens are experiencing peace and stability under the current governance.

Space Kidz India's ShaktiSat initiative has progressed to its second phase, bringing together girl students from 108 countries to build an engineering model of a 12U satellite prelude to a Moon mission. In phase one, a translated curriculum educated 9,800 girls towards a goal of 12,000. For phase two, over 100 students travelled to India, assembling structural architecture, solar panels, and coding rugged payloads without requiring a clean room, while learning from senior ISRO scientists. The satellite includes six payloads, featuring an infrared camera from Macquarie University, an IoT payload from Brazil, space debris capture cameras from Alabama and Purdue universities, a magnetometer from Switzerland, Poland, and the Philippines, an Egyptian drag sail designed to deorbit the satellite into Earth's atmosphere, and an AI-tested payload. The mission team has requested the Prime Minister to launch the satellite on 11 October to promote female participation in the space sector.
