The TVK-led alliance is scheduled to hold its second coalition meeting at the party headquarters in Chennai. The meeting will see the official name of the coalition decided and declared. Alliance partners including Congress, VCK, and IUML have been invited alongside Left parties. However, CPI and CPM are likely to stay away from the gathering, maintaining their stance of extending outside support to the government. This marks the second formal meeting of the alliance partners following an initial gathering held in July.

Maharashtra's Food & Drug Administration carried out inspections across five base kitchens and food plazas supplying meals to railway passengers via IRCTC in Mumbai.
