Delhi Announces Winter Pollution Curbs: WFH Mandate, Timings Staggered

Delhi has announced a series of strict measures to tackle winter air pollution following a high-level review meeting. From 1 November to 28 February, government and private offices must implement a 50 percent work-from-home policy, while office timings will be staggered to ease peak-hour traffic. Parking fees will double during this period. Outdoor civil construction and dust-generating demolition activities are prohibited from 1 November to 31 January, alongside a complete ban on construction and demolition from 10 December to 20 January. Stricter vehicular emission checks, entry curbs on non-BS6 outside vehicles, and tech-driven dust monitoring will also be enforced across Delhi.
