Indian Railways launched the beta version of the redesigned IRCTC website at 9 pm on July 15, 2026.

The launch follows an announcement made by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw last month, when he said the upgraded platform would be ready by mid-July.

The beta version is now available for users to access and provide feedback before wider improvements are introduced.

The platform also removes several elements that users have long complained about, including unnecessary pop-ups and a more complicated booking flow, making it easier for passengers to complete reservations quickly.
