For many engineering graduates, landing a corporate job is the dream. But for Mayuri Nitin Kale, the decision was different. After completing her engineering degree, getting married and becoming a mother, she received a corporate job offer worth Rs 5 lakh per annum. Accepting it would have meant relocating to Pune and spending long hours away from her young daughter.

She chose another path.

CHOOSING FAMILY OVER A CORPORATE JOB

According to reports, Mayuri declined the corporate offer because she did not want to move away from her daughter.

While many viewed the decision as a career sacrifice, she saw it as an opportunity to build something that allowed her to balance work and family life.

A BUSINESS STARTED FROM SCRATCH

Mayuri had no prior experience in running a business and did not begin with a large investment.

She started with a modest juice stall in Nashik, focusing on serving fresh juices to customers. Over time, consistent service and growing demand helped the venture expand.

Today, the business reportedly earns around Rs 80,000 every month, with annual revenue estimated at nearly Rs 50 lakh, according to media reports.

AN EXAMPLE OF A DIFFERENT KIND OF SUCCESS

Mayuri's story challenges the belief that success always comes through a conventional corporate career. Instead, it shows how entrepreneurship can offer both financial independence and flexibility for those willing to take a different route.

While building a business comes with its own risks and challenges, her journey underlines that small ventures, when nurtured with persistence, can grow into sustainable enterprises.

Mayuri Nitin Kale's decision to turn down a corporate job was driven by a personal priority—staying close to her daughter. Years later, that choice has evolved into a successful business, proving that career success can take many forms, even if it begins with a small juice stall.
