Pregnant Deepika Padukone joins Ranveer as family seeks blessings at Siddhivinayak

Actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday, a day after Ranveer offered prayers at Lalbaugcha Raja.

The couple arrived with Ranveer’s parents, with Deepika, who is expecting their second child, opting for an orange and purple kurta set. Ranveer was dressed in a purple kurta paired with white trousers.

The temple visit comes days after Ranveer and Deepika shared pictures from their latest pregnancy shoot. It also brought back memories of their previous visit to Siddhivinayak Temple on September 6, 2024, just two days before they welcomed their daughter, Dua.

A day earlier, Ranveer was seen at Lalbaugcha Raja seeking Bappa’s blessings. Dressed in a pink kurta, the actor was seen folding his hands and praying before the idol.

Ranveer and Deepika recently shared family pictures on September 8 to celebrate Dua’s second birthday. The couple are now preparing to welcome their second child, with Deepika also showing her baby bump in the maternity photographs they shared recently. The pictures also prompted comments about Dua’s resemblance to her father.

The couple announced their second pregnancy on April 19 through a joint Instagram post. The announcement featured Dua holding a positive pregnancy test.

Ranveer and Deepika got married on November 14, 2018, in Lake Como, Italy. They had two wedding ceremonies, one following Deepika’s Konkani traditions and another reflecting Ranveer’s Sindhi heritage. The couple first met on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2013 and dated for several years before tying the knot. They had reportedly got engaged in 2015.

Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their first child, Dua, on September 8, 2024. Their recent temple visits come as they await the arrival of their second child.
