Ahead of the much-awaited panel, the two stars made a stylish appearance at the pop culture convention, with pictures from the event quickly making rounds online.
Dressed in elegant Indian ensembles, Ranbir and Yash posed for cameras and interacted with the media before joining the panel discussion, where they spoke about the mythological epic and their experience being part of the project.
During the conversation, Yash praised Ranbir Kapoor's portrayal of Lord Ram and spoke about the effort that went into bringing the revered character to life. Calling the role a challenging one, Yash said, "It's not easy to play Lord Ram. The way Ranbir Kapoor has done it is marvellous. He has worked incredibly hard, and when you watch Ramayana, you'll witness a beautiful portrayal of Rama filled with intent and sacrifice."
Another viral video from the event featured Yash, who will be seen playing Ravana, opening up about the vision behind the ambitious mythological epic and highlighting how the team's intent played a crucial role in shaping the film.
Speaking about the challenges of bringing the story to life, the actor said, “I think intent is the most important thing. You need to have the right intent and team. When we started off with the right intent, then everything will fall in place. The story itself has got so many aspects where we started figuring out several aspects of life. Technically, it was challenging, from make-up to looks, but eventually, when you try to tell a story, we give it our all to tell the story in the most authentic way. I think we have been able to do it in quite a good manner, is what I believe."
Ranbir Kapoor, who portrays Lord Rama in the film, arrived at the event in a stylish bandhgala paired with dark sunglasses and an Indian flag lapel pin.
Yash, on the other hand, opted for a sharp black suit.
The two were also joined by director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra.
