Ranbir Kapoor's Ayodhya land purchase

This marks Ranbir's second major land investment in recent months. In May 2026, The House of Abhinandan Lodha announced that the actor had purchased a land parcel at its Ayodhya project, The Sarayu, in a transaction worth approximately Rs 3.31 crore.

The 2,134 sq ft plot is located within a 75-acre plotted development on the banks of the Sarayu River. According to the developer, the project will include a clubhouse, over 35 lifestyle amenities, and a five-acre luxury vegetarian hotel to be managed by The Leela.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor will next be seen in Ramayana: Part 1. Produced by Prime Focus Studios and DNEG, the film is being mounted as one of the most ambitious Indian films ever made. With its large-scale production, visual effects and international rollout, the makers are aiming to position it as a global cinematic event.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. Ramayana: Part 1 is scheduled to hit theatres during Diwali 2026. The actor also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War.
