The Batman 2: Robert Pattinson's first look revealed with new release date
Actor Robert Pattinson's first look in The Batman 2 has been revealed with the actor in his batsuit. Director Matt Reeves also used the announcement to share the film's revised release date.

The first look of actor Robert Pattinson in The Batman 2 has been revealed. The actor appears in his batsuit, giving viewers an early look at his appearance in the film.
Alongside the first-look reveal, director Matt Reeves also shared an update on the film's new release date. The update came as part of the same announcement around the sequel.
In an X post, Reeves shared the link to a Vimeo video where Pattinson's camera test was unveiled. The 30-second clip shows the actor suited up as the caped crusader once again. The video also confirmed that the release date has shifted from October 1, 2027, to February 18, 2028.
During the camera test, a smartly suited Pattinson gradually turns around to display his modified batsuit as police sirens bellow in the background, whilst the legendary score from The Batman by Michael Giacchino graces viewers' ears.
It was reported back in May that Pattinson is set to wear an upgraded suit for the sequel. Whilst his classic Batmobile was cleared out for filming purposes, the original costume was left behind at Warner Bros Studios, confirming that the crew has moved on from the old gear in favour of a fresh look.
The most striking modification to The Batman 2's fresh gear is the introduction of a chinguard, an element entirely missing from the first film. Whilst further details may be concealed across the rest of the outfit or masked by the shadows in the director's impressive camera test, it remains difficult to spot any other changes at present.
Earlier, Reeves had shared a teaser image of the Batmobile from The Batman: Part 2 on X. The post pointed to a winter setting as the sequel moves towards its 2027 release.
The upcoming film is co-produced by DC Studios, 6th & Idaho and Dylan Clark Productions.
