Bihar launches twin panels to raise learning standards and modernise exams
Bihar has announced committees on school quality and examination reform. The move also adds student dialogue camps and welfare coordination across departments.

Bihar School Examination Board
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) conducts secondary (Class X) and senior secondary (Class XII) examinations for both government and private schools across the state.
The BSEB Class XII results were declared after 1 PM on March 25, 2025, as announced by the board on its official social media handles. Students can check their results on the board’s official websites: interbiharboard.com and biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
Established in 1952 under Section 3 of the Bihar School Examination Act, the Bihar Board is a statutory body under the Government of Bihar. BSEB is headquartered in the state capital Patna.
The board conducts examinations based on the syllabus prescribed by the Bihar Government. In addition to school exams, BSEB also organises departmental tests for various certifications, including Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate courses in Physical Education, Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and Diploma in Elementary Education.
BSEB holds two major examinations each year – Annual Board Exams (February–March) for Classes X and XII, and Supplementary Exams (May–June) for students who need to reappear.
