flydubai is a government-owned low-cost airline based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Established by the Dubai government in 2008, it began operations in June 2009 and has since built a network of more than 125 destinations across 56 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe.

The airline operates a fleet of 98 Boeing 737 aircraft, including 737-800, 737 MAX 8 and 737 MAX 9 models. Based primarily at Dubai International Airport, flydubai also works closely with Emirates through a codeshare partnership, offering connecting flights and integrated passenger services.
