Goa Forward Party

The Goa Forward Party (GFP) is a prominent regional political entity in Goa, India, founded with the core objective of advancing Goan interests, culture, and identity. Led by Vijai Sardesai, the GFP has emerged as a significant player in Goa's political arena. Sardesai, currently serving as the MLA of Fatorda, has been instrumental in shaping the party's stance and direction since its inception.

Recent developments have seen the GFP take a stand on various critical issues affecting Goa, particularly emphasizing the protection of its unique heritage, environment, and livelihood. The party's decision to exit the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) was driven by concerns over policies that were deemed detrimental to Goa's interests.
