Parvesh Verma

Parvesh Verma is an Indian politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party and a Cabinet Minister in the Delhi government. He currently holds portfolios including the Public Works Department (PWD) and Legislative Affairs. Verma represents the New Delhi Assembly constituency, which he won in the February 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, defeating Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. 
 

He is the son of Sahib Singh Verma, a senior BJP leader who served as Delhi Chief Minister from 1996 to 1998. Coming from a prominent political family, Parvesh Verma has been active in Delhi politics at both the state and national levels.
