A Moradabad groom's decision to arrive at his wedding on a bulldozer has come at a cost. Days after videos of him smoking and dancing atop the machine during his baraat flooded social media, police tracked down the vehicle and moved to issue a challan.

The incident took place in Umri Kala village in Moradabad district, where groom Osman chose to swap the traditional horse or luxury car for a bulldozer as he led his wedding procession through the village. What may have started as an attempt at a unique baraat quickly drew attention online after multiple videos from the event began circulating across social media platforms.

In the viral clips, Osman was seen seated atop the bulldozer alongside friends as the procession moves through the village. One video showed the groom smoking a cigarette and blowing smoke rings while riding the heavy-construction vehicle.

Another clip captured him dancing enthusiastically on the bulldozer to loud DJ music as wedding guests cheer him on.

Several other baratis were also seen climbing onto the machine during the celebrations. Videos from the event show more than a dozen wedding guests dancing and enjoying themselves while standing on the moving bulldozer, turning the vehicle into an unconventional dance floor.

While many social media users viewed the unusual wedding procession as entertaining, others raised concerns over the potential safety risks involved. The sight of numerous people dancing atop a construction vehicle during a crowded procession sparked debate online, with several users pointing out that such stunts could easily lead to accidents.

As the videos continued to gain traction, local authorities took note of the matter. According to police, the bulldozer seen in the clips has been identified and action is being taken against the vehicle.

Speaking on the issue, Kanth police station officials said that the JCB machine used in the procession had been traced and that the process of issuing a challan was underway.

The incident pointed out the growing trend of elaborate and unconventional wedding entries designed for social media attention. In recent years, weddings across India have featured everything from cranes and tractors to luxury vehicles and themed processions, often with the aim of creating viral moments online.

However, authorities have repeatedly warned that celebrations involving heavy machinery, dangerous stunts or violations of traffic rules can attract legal action, particularly when public safety is at risk.

For Osman and his wedding party, the bulldozer baraat may have succeeded in grabbing attention online, but it has also brought an unexpected post-wedding souvenir in the form of a traffic challan.
