Video: Women gather at Agra home with offerings to worship ice Shivling in fridge
An ice formation inside a refrigerator at an Agra home has drawn women devotees who believe it resembles a Shivling.

A day after an ice formation inside a refrigerator made headlines for resembling a Shivling, one Agra home has become a hub of devotion, with women from nearby neighbourhoods gathering to offer prayers.
At the house in Agra, the atmosphere has taken on the feel of a temple. Since news of the 'ice Shivling' spread, devotees have been arriving throughout the day, with many convinced that they were witnessing a divine manifestation of Lord Shiva.
Women carrying belpatra (bael leaves), flowers, fruits, bhaang, dhatura and other offerings were seen performing rituals in front of the refrigerator. Several devotees also offered jalabhishek, while chants of "Har Har Mahadev" and "Bam Bam Bhole" echoed through the house.
Many women said they believed the ice formation was nothing short of a miracle.
"This is Baba Barfani himself. We have come to seek his blessings," one devotee said. Another suggested that the room housing the refrigerator should be declared a temple, with the fridge becoming a permanent place of worship.
As the crowds continue to grow, the home has become a centre of curiosity and faith, drawing visitors from neighbouring areas eager to catch a glimpse of what they believe is a sacred sign.
The women also explained how their faith outweighed any scientific explanation for how the ice formation came into being. For them, the resemblance to a Shivling was reason enough to pray.
The modest home in Agra, thus, continues to attract a steady stream of worshippers, transforming an ordinary refrigerator into an unexpected focal point of faith.
