Patna Police bust sex racket at hotel, 17 arrested including five women

Patna Police have busted an alleged sex racket operating from a hotel in the city, leading to the arrest of 17 people, including five women.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team conducted raids at Rukmani Hotel and a flat in the Guru Ka Bagh locality of Patna. Among those arrested were 12 men and five women, including a woman who is reportedly from West Bengal.

Police officials said liquor was also recovered from the hotel during the raid. Preliminary investigation suggested that the premises were allegedly being used for organising dance parties along with the illegal supply of alcohol and prostitution-related activities.
