Footage from the scene showed a group of Nihangs through a residential neighbourhood carrying sticks. In the video, a woman is seen trying to wrest a stick away from one of the men. After a brief struggle, the man managed to pull it back before the group proceeded towards a nearby house. Moments later, an altercation broke out between two groups outside the property.

According to police, the dispute revolves around a house owned by Ravinder Singh. The property was allegedly sold to Talvinder Sharma for Rs 43 lakh a few months ago, of which Rs 35 lakh had already been paid. However, a court case related to the property is currently pending.

Police said Talvinder Sharma allegedly brought Nihangs to help him take possession of the house. By the time officers reached the spot, a scuffle had already taken place. The police then dispersed the group and recorded statements from the complainants.

Based on Mandeep Kaur's statement, an FIR has been registered. The DSP alleged that Talvinder Sharma had hired the Nihang Sikhs for the operation.
