A bike rider was beaten up by five men travelling in a car following a road-rage incident in Noida's Sector 62 area, with the entire assault captured on CCTV, police said.
The incident took place under the jurisdiction of Sector 58 police station in Nawada, Sector 62. CCTV footage of the attack has surfaced, showing a group of men assaulting the biker on the roadside. The video also appears to show the victim being struck with an object resembling a brick or stone towards the end of the attack.
According to police, the altercation began late on Sunday night after a dispute over vehicles brushing against each other on the road. The argument escalated, following which the occupants of the car allegedly assaulted the biker.
The entire incident was recorded by nearby CCTV cameras.
After receiving information about the incident, Sector 58 police took cognisance of the matter and registered an FIR under relevant sections based on the victim's complaint.
Police said efforts are underway to identify the accused involved in the assault. Teams have been formed to trace and arrest the suspects, and action will be taken against them in accordance with the law.
