OJEE Counselling 2026 warns candidates to correct CBSE 'RT' document errors
The OJEE Cell has warned Counselling 2026 candidates to correct document discrepancies immediately. Applicants with a pending 'RT' (Repeat Theory) status in qualifying subjects are ineligible for admission and must withdraw from counselling or inform the OJEE office if unable to do so.

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell has issued a warning to candidates participating in the OJEE Counselling 2026 process after identifying discrepancies in the documents submitted by applicants. The authority has released a notice asking candidates to immediately rectify their application details, warning that failure to do so could lead to the cancellation of allotted seats during the admission process.
The notice primarily concerns candidates applying for BTech, BArch, BPharm, BCAT, and Integrated MSc programmes whose CBSE Class 12 mark sheets display an 'RT' (Repeat Theory) status in one or more qualifying subjects.
According to the notice, candidates must note the following rules:
Ineligibility: Students having a pending 'RT' (Repeat Theory) in required subjects do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
Action Required: If you have an 'RT' (Repeat Theory) and your documents have been marked as "Verified" (due to oversight or ignorance by any verifying officer), you are strictly required to withdraw from the system immediately.
Report to OJEE: If you are unable to withdraw online, you must formally inform the OJEE office in writing immediately.
CANDIDATES TO CORRECT DOCUMENT DISCREPANCIES
As per the information, the OJEE Cell found that several applications contain CBSE Class 12 mark sheets showing an 'RT' status in one or more required subjects. Such candidates have been advised to verify their documents without delay and ensure that the information submitted during counselling is accurate.
The authority described document verification as a crucial stage in the admission process, as candidates' eligibility is determined based on the records uploaded by them.
