For nearly two months, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has dominated national political discourse. What began as a satirical online response to a remark by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant evolved into a nationwide movement, drawing lakhs of students, job aspirants and young professionals onto the streets.

While the CJP says it is led by a collective core team, founder Abhijeet Dipke, spokesperson Saurav Das, policy strategist Ashutosh Ranka and lawyer Ratna Singh have emerged as its most recognisable public faces.
