Singer Kumar Sanu's son, Jaan Kumar Sanu, has been hospitalised after testing positive for Covid-19. The former Bigg Boss 14 contestant shared a video from Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Sunday, July 12, confirming his diagnosis and using humour to break the news with a "China se aaya mera dost (My friend came from China)" joke.

Jaan shared a video from the hospital, playfully giving fans a "fit check" of his hospital attire. The text on the video read, "Fit check - Wearing my favourite designer: Kokilaben. Checked in for: COVID from Wuhan (sic)."

In the caption, he wrote, "China se aaya mera dost. Covid ko salaam karo (My friend has come from China. Say hello to Covid) (sic)."

Through the post, Jaan confirmed that he had tested positive for Covid-19. However, he did not reveal when his symptoms started or how long he is expected to remain hospitalised.
