As Yash came on stage dressed in a sharp all-black ensemble, accessorised with a chunky gold watch and a single hoop earring, the audience cheered "Daddy's home," his signature catchphrase from director Geetu Mohandas's upcoming action film, Toxic. Chants of 'Rocky Bhai'—a nod to his iconic character from the KGF film series — echoed through the venue, adding to the thunderous applause.
The actor was seen blushing as he waved at the crowd as he joined producer Namit Mahotra on stage and greeted everyone with, "Namaskara, Namaskaram, Vanakkam, Swagatam, Namaskar (sic)."
While expressing his happiness at being a part of the film, he said, "I am very happy to be part of this wonderful project." Apart from Yash, director Nitesh Tiwari, actors Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Kunal Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Rakul Preet Singh, and Shobhana were also present for the grand trailer launch. The launch was held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Saturday.
The grand event began with a special address by poet Kumar Vishwas who explained Ramayana’s significance, followed by a soulful performance by renowned sitar player Rishab Rikhiram Sharma. In his own style, Sharma gave a unique fusion to the devotional songs.
Other than the cast, several spiritual leaders, including Baba Ramdev, Anandmurti Gurumaa, and others, were also seen at the event.
It is important to note that the makers will showcase the trailer of Ramayana at ComicCom San Diego on July 20 and post that it will be released for the fans on July 24.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana will release in theatres on Diwali 2026, while the second part will release in 2027.
