India Today, in its review of the film, wrote, "For years, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has been defined by the people around him – Tony Stark, the Avengers, even the multiverse. Brand New Day finally allows Peter Parker to carry the weight of his own story. It may take a little while to find its footing, but once it does, it delivers some of the franchise’s most inventive action, its most emotionally honest moments and a reminder that Spider-Man has always been at his best when the mask comes off."

Apart from Holland the film also features actors Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo in key roles. New additions to the franchise include Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, Liza Colon-Zayas and Marvin Jones II.

Co-written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is produced by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal.

The film is set for a theatrical release in India on July 30.
